The real facts about me... and the activities of my associated businesses


I am a Zimbabwean .... and I live in Zimbabwe.

I have invested money in Zimbabwean companies for many years.

My family trusts and I have the following operations in Zimbabwe:

A Farm / Game Conservancy

The farm and conservancy employs approximately 320 people and supports a further 2,000 + dependants. It is not, and has never been a commercial farm or economically viable and has always needed financial support.

Food is grown on the farm to feed workers and their families; and some feed (grass) for grazing animals;



The only cash crops are roses and proteas. Income from these used to support the operation of the farm.

Roses are grown by a private operator in a joint venture with the farm. These used to be exported to Holland - but that stopped after the EU imposed sanctions on me.

A Cigarette Factory

This factory employs approximately 100 Zimbabweans and supports an estimated additional 700 dependants

Approximately 85% - 90% of its production was manufactured for another company and was exported mainly around Southern Africa.

Tourism - Leisure Projects

Tourism projects in Mozambique - all were under development until the US Sanctions were imposed. Work on these projects has been forced to a halt since December 2008.

There are approximately 98 Zimbabweans employed full-time in the various projects described above and supports an estimated additional 700 dependants.

Petroleum Company

The company has 6 retail petrol stations and a further 8 are in a joint venture.

The business employs approximately 30 employees (plus a further 200+ dependants) and only just breaks even.

Businesses associated with me employ and support approximately 7,000 to 8,000 people, mostly in Zimbabwe.

None of those businesses trade with the Government of Zimbabwe;

Employees are paid in both money and food - ours was one of the first groups of companies to introduce mid-day meals in factories and provide workers with weekly food-parcels;

The leisure-related businesses have all suffered from the economic situation in the country but I have personally supported these businesses for the past several years;

I run an enlightened game-conservation programme at my farm and we have a number of herds of rare breeds that are disease-free.

THE BUSINESSES ABOVE AND THE MANY STAFF THEY EMPLOY ARE ALL AT RISK BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN WRONGLY DESIGNATED AS "A CRONY OF MUGABE" AND SANCTIONED BY THE US AND EU GOVERNMENTS.
